About Me

Hi! I'm Eleanor, and to understand it all you must first know two things:

1) After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Illustration, I suffered from complete burnout. I stopped drawing, overwhelmed with questions such as “what is the meaning of my art?” and “why do I draw?”, especially during an age of AI

2) As a life-long collector and sender of postcards from my travels, it saddens me to see the decline of the postcard. I think it is a wonderful way to tell someone that you’re “thinking of them” even whilst backpacking through Europe or gazing at the Northern Lights in Canada

Penguin Post is my attempt to find passion and meaning in art again; it is my small way of combatting the AI overlords and the increasing disconnect between people. I hope to revive the charm of old-timey correspondence while creating community through (hopefully you think so!) beautifully illustrated mail
